Maraval Founded by Aquila Farrell (The Niece), is a fashion house headquartered in Oakland, California, but founded in Toronto, Canada. Named after the vibrant, affluent suburb of Maraval in northern Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, our brand reflects a rich legacy of beauty, culture, and connection.

Maraval designs clothing for women seeking a fresh take on their favorite wardrobe pieces. Our designs are colorful, flowing, and versatile—pieces that move with you and brighten every moment.

At the heart of Maraval is family. Our founder, Aquila, pays tribute to her mother Vanessa's sewing legacy by designing all of Maraval's prints, transforming photographs from Aquila's travels into unique, vibrant fabrics.

Aquila is joined by her Aunt Antoinette, Maraval's technical Co-Founder, whose over 30 years or sewing expertise and passion help bring every design to life.
